Alpha Orion is a personal crypto research assistant. An AI reviews the coins you hold against market positioning data and gives a view — then that view is checked against what actually happened, so you can see whether it deserves your attention.

The idea
Most tools in this space tell you what they think and then quietly forget they said it. Alpha Orion's central design decision is the opposite: every view and every forecast it produces is recorded and then graded against the actual outcome. Over time that gives you a track record instead of a confident-sounding opinion.
What it does
- Watches the coins you hold, plus a core list, refreshed in the background.
- Produces a periodic view on each coin — a short- and long-term read, its reasoning, and explicitly what would change its mind.
- Reads market positioning — futures funding, open interest and long/short ratios — so it can recognise a crowded trade rather than walking into one.
- Scores itself. Each view is checked against what happened next, and the record is visible to you.
- Answers questions about any decision, coin, or your portfolio as a whole.
Limits are enforced in code
Where the software is permitted to act at all, it acts inside boundaries you set before it starts — a ceiling on total exposure, a largest single position, a maximum per coin, take-profit and cut-loss points, and an overall brake. Those limits are enforced by the program itself, not left to the AI's judgement.
It also runs in modes: an advice-only mode where it never acts, an approval mode where nothing happens without you confirming it individually, and a stop control that halts everything and cancels anything waiting.
